DoD STARBASE’s primary focus is the program for fifth graders. The goal is to motivate them to explore STEAM opportunities as they continue their education. The program encourages students to set goals and achieve them. The academies work with school districts to support their standards of learning objectives. A teacher whose class attended DoD STARBASE stated, “STARBASE teaches science and mathematics in ways that we wish we had the time, resources, and expertise to do in the regular classroom. It’s experiential, exploratory learning with a direct tie to the Standards.”

Training Programs and Experiences K-12:

Infinity Center of Education – FIRST LEGO League – We deliver hands-on STEAM experiences for children aged 4-16 years through our three FIRST LEGO League divisions across Central Florida and the Space Coast.

DoD STARBASE – Located at Patrick Space Force Base, this program engages students through the inquiry-based curriculum with its “hands-on, minds-on”; experiential activities.

Codecraft Works – Engaging, Online and Hybrid Delivery of summer camps and school-time programs provide a classic learning experience – without the commute. Using project-based curriculum, enrolled students develop computer science skills and explore different aspects of modern technology, all from the comfort of their desks.

The National Center for Simulation – The Modeling and Simulation program offers a sequence of courses that provides coherent and rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare for further education and careers in the Information Technology career cluster and the expansive employment opportunities in the field of Modeling and Simulation.

American Space Museum and Space Walk of Fame Education Programs – The goal of ASM’s educational programs is to utilize the rich history and promising future of the American space program as a foundation for STEM / STEAM classes, camps, Makerspaces, and after-school activities targeted to students grades K-12, with an emphasis on under-served and at-risk youth. We will further seek to instill in these youngsters the critical thinking, problem-solving, leadership and teamwork skills necessary for success in the 21st Century.

Cape Canaveral Space Force Museum- Our goal is to collect, restore, and exhibit items of historical significance which relate to the development and heritage of U.S. Space Force space launch activities.

Cape Canaveral Light House

Sands Space History Center – Admission is free!  Since the History Center is located just outside of Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, no Cape access pass is required. The History Center contains historic information and displays for each Launch Complex (LC) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

American Space Museum– Inside our museum’s galleries in downtown Titusville, you will find items that have been donated by individuals, astronauts, space workers, NASA, and NASA contractor companies. Some have flown in space. We also have actual Space Shuttle Launch Control Center consoles, Air Force Launch Pad 36A consoles, and a Pad 16 Launch Sequencer.
